Impossible havens of poetry
Big prize
Author: Edwin Sougarev
Published: 2005

This is one in itself impossible novel. It is a text whose genre affiliation is more than questionable - as is devoid of common plot thread and any fasteners. And while text that stands as the edge between poetry and prose, and the edge of the grotesque (this is why it is called "poetic" - as a hybrid between poetry and grotesque). Seven plot threads intersect at a common metaphor: the collapse of poetic among banal dneshnost - as poetic worldview, such as language and lifestyle.
The novel is a tragic experience resentful eighth parable itself, played in different situations and with different styles.
