The story of a statuette - past and future. That is the organizers of the Literature Contest “Razvitie” will try to present in the coming months. What is all this about is, of course, the exquisite glass sculpture received by the winners of the Grand Prize of the Bulgarian literaturecompetition for unpublished novels.
Created more than 10 years ago by the artist Boryana Zafirova, she was the focus of the last few editions of the competition. The finished pieces areall gifted to the previous winners of the competition. With thelast of whichwent to Inna Valchanova, who with "Crash Island" took the Grand Prize of the 9-th edition of the same competition.
That is why Boryana started working on a new statuette for the 10-th anniversary competition "Razvitie". In the beginning of May, the author of one of the 45 manuscripts sent to the competition will receive the unique sculpture created exclusively for the anniversary. In addition, Boryana Zafirova will also sculpt a statuette for the special prize of the 10-th editionof the competition.
Together with Boryana, film director Anton Radoslavov and our friends from “Under the Bridge”, we decided to tell you the story of the making of the first statuettes and to show you the creation of the two new ones.
