Kaloyan and his coach with a silver badge by “Razvitie”
19.02.2018
Insurance broker “Variant” - sponsor of the young hope of Bulgarian swimming, 14-year-old Kaloyan Levterov, continues the care for our talented sportsperson.
Under the one-year contract between “Variant”, a part of the Corporation “Razvitie” and Kaloyan, the swimmer receives elite sports equipment, funding for participation in major tournaments and premiums for good ranking.
Levterov participation in his first big international competition was very promising. Euro Meet 2018 is probably the largest winter swimming tournament on a big swimming pool in which the players represent their clubs.
In Luxembourg, Kaloyan brought the bronze medal in the 100 meters back swim, to his team “Slavia” and to his sponsor, as well as two other promising rankings - 5th place at 200 meters and 6th 50 meters distances.
For the bronze medal "Variant" and "Razvitie" awarded the swimmer with 200 Euros. Kaloyan visited the office of "Razvitie" corporation where the chief manager Alexander Alexandrov handed to him and his coach Georges Stankovic the silver badges of "Razvitie" - a gesture of trust, as well as a symbol of the team and the mutual responsibilities each one bares in one team.
The planning for the next participation of Kaloyan, financed by "Variant" in another serious swimming tournament in Vienna in May, has already started.
The “Slavia” club newspaper, which has been printed without interruption since 2001, also gives a whole page for our talented swimmer – deservedly, but also as motivation.
