Among the many viewers were the teams of CSKA and Levski - boys, along with their coaches, the vice-president of BVF Lubo Ganev, many parents, journalists, amatures of the most successful collective sport in Bulgaria – the volleyball.
Aleksandar Alexandrov, lead manager of “Razvitie”, general sponsor of the league and its co-organizer, together with Bulgaria’s volleyball headquarters, thanked all those who helped financially or logistically to conduct this spectacular competition, which has no analogue in Bulgaria or in Europe. Alexandrov awarded with the golden badge of “Razvitie” CDA to the team that worked on the film, as his premiere is part of the activities the corporation celebrates in its 2018th anniversary with.
The main focus of the documentary is, of course, the scout league, the volleyball, the sport as a whole. But many other important things can be found between the lines.
For example, how children are growing in a more secure environment by participating in sports, and going into one community, controlled by coaches, with sport regime and rules, and obligations. How young children, at a young age are confronted with concepts such as responsibility, teamwork, common goal. How sport leaves its irreplaceable positive impact on the healthy development of the child. Important lessons on how to enjoy success and be able to accept losses. All this is enough to build a protected "island of normality".
With such messages, the film goes beyond the competition itself and the game. It shows a number of problems, but also the possibilities for solving them - in the name of the children and their future. These kind of "islands of normality", together with family and school, could provide the adolescents with an environment - a springboard for a more creative life and life of a better quality.
After the premiere in Sofia, the creators of the film plan to show it in several more cities in the country.
