Two new novels winning Razvitie’s competition for unpublished novel are now released on the market

04.10.2018

Delivering on its commitments, Razvitie Corporation released two new winning novels – “Extreme – a rock story with a bus” by Ivan Stoilov and “National treasure” by Dimitar Todorov. Earlier this year the authors shared the Special prize of the 10th Razvitie’s unpublished novel competition.

Regardless of the fact that the two novels are sharing a picture, their themes and moods are completely different. The editor Elka Dimitrova writes in the annotations: “Fresh, authentic, powerful story from the 90’s … Friendships are born, enlightenment is achieved during a trip … Of course – everything is extreme and still completely natural and authentic.” (Extreme);

“Private detective is tracking the fading clues, investigating a judge of the Supreme Court… A story, which is presented with a swing, enthusiasm and a sip of capturing naivety.” (National Treasure)

In a few days the two novels, along with the one, which appeared in the end of September, winning the Grand prize – “The Clay King” by Dobromir Baichev, will reach the bookshops around the country, looking for their readers.

We meanwhile continue with the ongoing work on the next three texts nominated by the jury: “Three for happiness” by Desislava Sheitanova-Lekova, “Tower of lies” by Victor Stoyanov and “Then and always” by Strahil Subev.

Razvitie Corporation will present all the winning books at the Book Festival in Sofia, in December. Before that, expect the winners’ premiers.
