Corporation “Razvitie” received strong moral and material support from the state, municipalities, and its adherents for organizing the ending final tournaments of the National Volleyball Scout League. Recall, that the Corporation is the general sponsor of the unprecedented on its scale in Europe, scout league.
After the first two tournaments in which nearly 1,200 girls and boys played, costed over 80,000 leva more than the previously guaranteed by “Razvitie” – 200,000 leva, the Corporation sought assistance from the state in the face of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Mayor of Burgas – Dimitar Nikolov and the Plovdiv volleyball clubs “Maritsa” and “Victoria Volley”.
After the meeting of the CEO of “Razvitie” – Alexander Alexandrov and the economic adviser of the corporation Ivaylo Kalfin, with the Minister of Sports – Prof. Daniela Dasheva, the Minister undertook the task to assist in holding one of the final tournaments of the Scout League.
It is already known that the 12 finalist teams of boys will play on March 31 - April 2 in “Varna Sportpalas”, which is part of the structure of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Prof. Dasheva also showed strong interest in the finals and wished to attend both tournaments.
The final tournament for the girls will be held on 17 - 19 March in Plovdiv and will be held thanks to the involvement of the local volleyball community in the face of “Maritsa” and “Victoria Volley” clubs.
The final stage of the Scout League will be in the form of a glamorous International Tournament, originally conceived as a tournament for the Cups of “Razvitie”. This was slightly corrected after Alexander Alexandrov's meeting with the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, who showed great interest in the league and made a commitment of our sea town to host the tournament, which will include the first three teams, the winners of the girls and the boys and six teams from abroad.
Thus, the National Volleyball Scout League will end on 13th - 15th May with the “International Cup Tournament” of Burgas.
The “Razvitie” Corporation expresses its satisfaction that it has found collaborators and other people interested in the cause of the Scout League. Undeniable is the fact that great sport depends on the “bottom of the pyramid” where the children and their coaches stand. Only by common action between business, state and municipalities young athletes will be able to obtain conditions and incentives for their development.
