During the first two stages of the Scout League - the tournaments involving all 72 teams of boys and girls, Corporation “Razvitie” made a cost that exceeded the maximum amount of the contract between it and the “Bulgarian Volleyball Federation”. This amount is 250 000 BGN, which shows that we have not only fulfilled our obligation, but also overcharged it by almost 50 000 BGN on top. Separately we managed to attract 33,000 BGN from external sources.
Therefore, by proceeding with the organization of the finals, we realized that we need to generate large sums of funds from external sources; otherwise the mere continuation of the Scout League would be questioned. Fortunately, this is what we have been doing and we have managed to raise almost the entire amount from other sponsors - almost the 50,000 BGN needed for the two finals.
It is important for us to point out those who helped us: the state in the face of Prof. Dasheva - Minister of Youth and Sports, where the “Sports Totalizator” donated 9,400 BGN, the municipality in Plovdiv donated 3,000 BGN, Maritsa Plovdiv Prize donated 31,250 BGN and the other Plovdiv club "Victoria Volley" donated 3,650 BGN.
We perceive this good cooperation as a significant success because we never thought that we would be able to finance ourselves the budget, which at the initial talks was set at 350,000 BGN.
We will continue to look for money from outside sources, but we believe that the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation can also help us in this regard. In fact, the Scout League is a product launched by the federation, and it is entirely responsible for the sport and technical part, including the judges running the Scout League games.
Now we are only thinking about the final super international tournament Gala, which should be held in the city of Burgas in the middle of May. We have serious agreements with the mayor of Burgas, Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, and we have sent a special request letter to him, describing the parameters of the aid that the City Hall should provide for the final Gala. We will further inform the public about the progress of the preparations.
I use the occasion to thank especially to our new sponsors - Minister Prof. Dasheva, the City Hall of Plovdiv and the owners of “Maritsa Plovdiv” and “Victoria Volley”. Your help is invaluable, because if you did not agree so generously to support the Scout League, we might have had serious problems with financing the finals, but that did not happen, thanks to you.
Moreover, in the general opinion of contestants, coaches, parents, volleyball players and fans, the final tournament for girls, held on 17-th-19 th of March, in Plovdiv, was on an extremely high organizational level.
Thanks to our new partners from “Maritsa Plovdiv”, “Victoria Volley” and Plovdiv, the young volleyball players had the chance to play in the magnificent “Kolodruma” Hall.

We are allowed to present some of the opinions quoted by the sports media:
"Albena Bozhilova, coach of Slavia (Sofia): “My opinion about the tournament - incredible organization, very good conditions! The mood is very good. The hall is full of children - something I wish every city and club can achieve! The idea of the Scout League is very, very good. These are games that children have to play so that we can get them back into the halls. There is their place! They deserve to see and touch the big (seeing the Kolodruma Hall) so they can want it even more.”
Miglena Stresova, coach of Kazanlak Volley (Kazanlak): “This is a very nice tournament in which children are developing themselves. The ability to play in such a hall is very nice for these children and we have never imagined that they can play in such a facility. Every team is seen to be advanced and must have these children matches to develop.”
Asen Kirev, coach of Pirin (Razlog): “Regarding the organization of the tournament, the hosts have ensured the conditions are perfect both in the hotels and the atmosphere in the hall - a unique, very nice hall! All things predispose to a wonderful final tournament. Regarding the Scout League, this is a great idea, because at these ages, as a whole, players do not have many matches in the “State Championship” and this Scout League as it helps us, the coaches, to get to know our girls and their capabilities even more, so it gives them a wonderful opportunity play more games, gain experience and confidence, and develop as volleyball players.”
